The AR tools estimate distance from what the camera can see. They work best in good light, on surfaces with visible texture, at a sensible distance, with the phone held steady. Plain white walls, glass, mirrors and dim rooms are the usual causes of a poor reading. Move the phone slowly around the space first so it can recognise the surfaces, then place your points.
For anything that has to be right, check it with a tape measure. See the Terms of Service for the full accuracy note.
Every device has a small mounting skew in its motion sensor, and a case or camera bump will add more. Use the calibrate control in the level to zero it against a surface you trust. You can undo this at any time with Settings › Level › Reset level to factory zero.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. On your device open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, choose Measure App and cancel there. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Open the app's upgrade screen and tap Restore. This asks Apple to re-check your purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought the subscription with.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
On your device, and nowhere else. The app has no account and no server, so your measurements are not backed up by us and cannot be recovered if you delete the app. Export anything you want to keep first. See the Privacy Policy.
